As a songwriter Moose won the Grammy award for Best CountrySong for co-writing"It's Five O'clock Somewhere”, and he has had songsrecorded by Martina McBride,Willie Nelson, Steve Wariner, Jamey Johnson, Mo Pitney, JohnSchneider, HeidiNewfield, Tyler Farr, Darryl Worley, Ronnie Milsap, JoshTurner, David Allen Coe, JamesOtto, Joe Nichols, Teea Goans, Eddie Montgomery, and others.

As a touring musician Moose has toured and recordedextensively as a member of BobSeger’s Silver Bullet Band.

As a record producer Moose co-produced Daryl Worley’s top 10single "Sounds LikeLife To Me” as well as the critically acclaimed album byJamey Johnson "ThatLonesome Song" which features the ACM and CMA Song ofthe Year "In Color". ThePlatinum selling album was nominated at the Grammys, ACMsand CMAs for Album ofthe Year. Moose also co-produced Jamey's certified Golddouble album "The GuitarSong", which was also grammy nominated for best countryalbum.

As a session player Moose won the award for ACM KeyboardPlayer Of The Year in2015 and 2017. He has played on the movie soundtracks of“Varsity Blues”, "CountryStrong”, ”Cars, and Cars 2”, and is a longtime member of BobSeger’s Silver BulletBand. Jim "Moose" Brown was inducted into theArkansas Entertainer's Hall of Fame in2010.
