Sound Check - How To Produce Great Sound

                                                    - with Adam Gambrell

For this workshop, we will have several PA Systems set up and will be covering the full range
of sound for typical performances. The goal is a hands-on working model to help you set up
the proper sound system for your performances or how to handle sound in a wide range of situations. If you are a performer, beginning sound engineer or someone interested in
knowing the “ins and outs” of running sound, whether for yourself or for others - this workshop is for you.

Adam Gambrell, an Ocean Springs native, left school in 2003 and moved to Nashville with
the hopes of beginning a career in songwriting. While in Nashville he lived in the attic apartment above Studio 19, formerly Patsy Cline’s home. It was during this experience that
he discovered and began the craft of sound engineering. Adam has spent the past 10 years honing his skills in both live sound and studio recording. He has mixed and recorded many different professional bands, and was the lead engineer for the world famous Shed BBQ and Blues Joint for the past 8 years. Adam has been a very helpful addition to the MS Songwriters Festival running sound at events and recording the songs for the up-coming MS Songwriters Festival CD.
