#1. CREATION OF THE SONG.
All things creative. Assessing subject matter, avoiding clichéd’ rhymes, overused subjects,

Taking a fresh approach, getting REALITY into songs, Building better melodies, avoiding “Second verse Hell!”, keeping it tight and effective, less is more, building dynamics into a song. Writing with artists, artists writing with experienced, established and hit writers.

#2. PRESENTATION OF THE SONG (LIVE AND RECORDED)
All aspects of live performance, playing with dynamics, choosing song types, reading audiences, Stage presence, making them PUT DOWN THE CEL PHONE,  interacting with audiences, levels of recording, studio shopping, Nashville Vs. other places, video construction, THINGS TO AVOID.

 #3. NETWORKING
Building your “HOME AUDIENCE.” Building bridges between Nashville and your home town. Must have a PRESENCE to win. To MOVE OR NOT TO MOVE. Having a Nashville presence WITHOUT living in Nashville. “back doors to publishers.” Finding and keeping co-writers. Online presence, AVOIDING MISSTEPS. INSTRUCTION FOR PARENTS OF ARTISTS.
